Accountability

Our impact, measured honestly

Rainshield is a young initiative. Here's what we're aiming for, how we plan to measure it, and where we'll post real updates as each drive happens.

This page will fill up with real numbers and stories as drives are completed. We'd rather show a smaller, honest track record than inflate one — check back after our next distribution.
How we'll measure it

What we track, drive by drive

Tarps distributed

Count per drive, with rough shelter locations reached.

Shoes given out

By size range, adult and child, per drive.

Umbrellas handed out

Simple running total, drive by drive.

Funds raised vs. spent

A transparent ledger comparing donations in to items purchased.

Season one goals

What we're working toward this monsoon

100 tarps distributed

Enough to reinforce shelter for roughly 100 households in flood-prone pavement and settlement clusters.

150 pairs of waterproof shoes

Targeting families with children first, based on outreach worker recommendations.

200 umbrellas

Distributed at commuter-heavy pavement locations identified with our NGO partner.

These are our starting targets for the current season, not results yet achieved. We'll update these bars as each drive is completed.

Drive reports & photo updates

After each distribution day, we'll post a short recap here: what was distributed, roughly how many people it reached, what our NGO partner observed on the ground, and photos where privacy allows.
